Our Team
Randy A. Risler, CFS®, AIF®
President
As Founder and CEO of Nine Pillars Wealth Management I am able to establish our firm’s vision and support a team that shares my penchant for client service. After 22 years of serving clients, I still wake up with an enthusiastic spirit of how I may positively impact client’s lives.
We are truly a boutique shop in an age of automation. I believe our clients value our approach which puts them in the center of our universe every day. We spare no effort or experience in helping our clients pursue and plan for their goals. Simply put, we serve clients how we would want to be served if the roles were reversed.
I knew at a young age that I wanted to be a Financial Advisor. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, with a business degree where I majored in corporate finance with an emphasis on economics and securities analysis. My first six years of financial planning and investment consulting were with the accounting firm LarsonAllen. Next, I was recruited by Security Financial Bank to serve as the Founder and President of their Wealth Management division for 10 years. I purchased the Wealth Management division of the bank on January 1, 2015.
It was then that Nine Pillars Wealth Management was born. The name describes the many important financial pillars that we advise clients on….from planning for retirement to establishing a legacy they will leave their loved ones. I hold FINRA Series 6, 7, 26, 53, and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®. I am also licensed in areas of life, health, and accident insurance. I embrace the ongoing coursework to maintain CFS® and AIF® designations. They are more than designations but rather a commitment to taking a fiduciary approach to advice I deliver.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, Mandi; and our 5 children: Blake, Bennett, Marlee, Briggs and Brax. We reside just south of Eau Claire. We enjoy improving the natural habitat for wildlife and are dedicated to the community and church to which we belong. My core values prioritize serving my clients and the greater community in which I live.

Randy A. Risler is proud to have been recognized as a Leaders Level advisor for 2012—a distinction based on annual production attained this year by just 5 percent of advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network.
Each year, Commonwealth, the broker/dealer who helps us process investment transactions on your behalf, recognizes Leaders Level advisors by inviting them to an exclusive gathering of their peers, leading industry experts, and Commonwealth home office staff. Leaders Level advisors benefit from an intensive learning and networking experience designed to help them hone their expertise, share best practices, and provide ever-higher levels of service, education, and leadership to their clients.
Adam Stine
Wealth Manager
As a partner at Nine Pillars, I have helped clients grow and preserve their wealth, since 2013. Together we will form a customized plan that focuses on growing your investments, create sustainable retirement income strategies, and protect the resources you have built throughout your life.
With a degree in psychology from Greenville College, I leverage my understanding of human emotions, to guide clients through the ups and downs of both life and markets, so that you can focus on the people and causes that you cherish most.
When I am away from the office, I am spending time with my wife Camilla, and our daughter Navy. After 16 years of happiness together, Camilla and I welcomed Navy, and she has become the delight of our life, bringing excitement and often unpredictability, to each day.
I am a devoted member of my church and am passionate about helping the community. In 2015, I started a community focused organization that connects volunteers with non-profit organizations in the Chippewa Valley. Since that year, our group has contributed over 250 volunteer hours annually to various local, non-profit organizations.
Greg Poeschel
Wealth Manager
I joined Nine Pillars in 2020 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a degree in Business Finance and a minor in Marketing. From the start, I knew Nine Pillars was the right fit. Our boutique-style environment and commitment to personal service reflect the kind of advisor I strive to be — one who takes the time to listen, understand, and build lasting relationships.
In 2025, I became a partner of the firm, further strengthening my dedication to the families we serve. I work closely with individuals who are preparing for retirement or already enjoying it — helping them move from years of saving to confidently living off what they’ve built. I believe retirement planning isn’t just about numbers; it’s about peace of mind. My goal is to provide thoughtful guidance, careful attention to detail, and steady support so clients feel secure in their decisions and excited about the years ahead.
Outside of the office, I cherish time with my wife, Courtney, along with our German Shorthaired Pointer, Scato, and our cat, Pepper. I enjoy being outdoors whenever I can — most often pursuing my passion for archery. Giving back to the community is also important to me, and I’m proud to serve as a board member of the Mondovi Conservation Club.

I joined the Nine Pillars team as Client Relations Manager in October 2022. I have worked primarily in the financial industry since 2009, and have always enjoyed client-service focused roles. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a major in Business and an emphasis in Human Resources.
When I am away from the office, I am spending time with my husband, Kasey; and our two children: Nora and Trey. If I’m not with my family, you can find me out and about in the community, socializing with friends, being active outdoors, or reading a good book.
My passion is people. I look forward to serving our clients’ needs each day and growing those relationships.

I joined the Nine Pillars team as an office assistant in September of 2023. I have a degree as an Administrative Assistant and have worked in the administrative field for over 20 years.
My husband, Jake, and I live in the country with our three boys: Jacob, Isaac, and Noah. In this phase of our lives, we are constantly running to sporting events for our kids! If I'm not running for the kids, you can find me volunteering for our local church, out for a nice walk, or enjoying a good cup of coffee!
