Randy A. Risler, CFS®, AIF®
President
As Founder and CEO of Nine Pillars Wealth Management I am able to establish our firm’s vision and support a team that shares my penchant for client service. After 22 years of serving clients, I still wake up with an enthusiastic spirit of how I may positively impact client’s lives.
We are truly a boutique shop in an age of automation. I believe our clients value our approach which puts them in the center of our universe every day. We spare no effort or experience in helping our clients pursue and plan for their goals. Simply put, we serve clients how we would want to be served if the roles were reversed.
I knew at a young age that I wanted to be a Financial Advisor. I graduated Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, with a business degree where I majored in corporate finance with an emphasis on economics and securities analysis. My first six years of financial planning and investment consulting were with the accounting firm LarsonAllen. Next, I was recruited by Security Financial Bank to serve as the Founder and President of their Wealth Management division for 10 years. I purchased the Wealth Management division of the bank on January 1, 2015.
It was then that Nine Pillars Wealth Management was born. The name describes the many important financial pillars that we advise clients on….from planning for retirement to establishing a legacy they will leave their loved ones. I hold FINRA Series 6, 7, 26, 53, and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network®. I am also licensed in areas of life, health, and accident insurance. I embrace the ongoing coursework to maintain CFS® and AIF® designations. They are more than designations but rather a commitment to taking a fiduciary approach to advice I deliver.
I enjoy spending time with my wife, Mandi; and our 5 children: Blake, Bennett, Marlee, Briggs and Brax. We reside just south of Eau Claire. We enjoy improving the natural habitat for wildlife and are dedicated to the community and church to which we belong. My core values prioritize serving my clients and the greater community in which I live.

Wealth Manager
As a partner at Nine Pillars, I have helped clients grow and preserve their wealth, since 2013. Together we will form a customized plan that focuses on growing your investments, create sustainable retirement income strategies, and protect the resources you have built throughout your life.
With a degree in psychology from Greenville College, I leverage my understanding of human emotions, to guide clients through the ups and downs of both life and markets, so that you can focus on the people and causes that you cherish most.
When I am away from the office, I am spending time with my wife Camilla, and our daughter Navy. After 16 years of happiness together, Camilla and I welcomed Navy, and she has become the delight of our life, bringing excitement and often unpredictability, to each day.
I am a devoted member of my church and am passionate about helping the community. In 2015, I started a community focused organization that connects volunteers with non-profit organizations in the Chippewa Valley. Since that year, our group has contributed over 250 volunteer hours annually to various local, non-profit organizations.

Wealth Manager
I joined the Nine Pillars team in June 2020 after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I graduated with a business degree majoring in finance and minoring in marketing. I knew Nine Pillars was the right fit for me given that their client-focused approach and “boutique-style” atmosphere align well with my personal goals as a financial advisor. Providing personalized financial-planning advice tailored to each clients’ goals and needs is an important part of our philosophy. It is great to work in an environment where every client receives the same attention of detail to their portfolio.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and German short-haired pointer Scato. Enjoying time in the outdoors is a passion of mine, particularly shooting archery. I volunteer in my hometown as a board member of the Mondovi Conservation Club.
